Hampton Home Living is a retail fashion, home and garden store in Port Coquitlam.

We are looking for a visual merchandising sales associate. The ideal person will have a flair for
creating appealing visual displays primarily in our home décor and seasonal areas. You will also be
required to assist customers with their purchases and will help strengthen our customer relationships
and convert new patrons into repeat shoppers.

This role requires you to create product displays, styling and in-store marketing displays to optimize
our customers shopping experience. In essence to create a first class shopping experience for our
customers.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work with staff to implement powerful and visually appealing product displays that are shopper
  friendly and drive store sales.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, in store and over the phone.
• Assist customers on the floor and provide product information that delivers an end to end positive
  experience.
• Operate cash register and handle cash payments and credit card processing. Handle refunds and
  exchanges.
• Manage home décor inventory and display product in a timely manner.
• Create timely seasonal displays inclusive of Spring, Fall and Holiday.
• Assist with buying product especially during the Holiday season.
• Receive and price product as it arrives in the store. This will include adding product to inventory and
  printing price stickers in our Lightspeed POS.
• Must be able to work on weekend day.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 Years of Visual merchandising and Customer Service Experience
• Self-motivated
• Friendly and personable demeanor
• Confident and engaging personality
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills. As a visual leader you will need to direct staff as to where inventory/products are
  located.
• Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 20 pounds
